Located between the two mountains Nar and Narayan, Badrinath Dham is a majestic sight as well as the the most important of all the Char Dhams. Lakhs of tourist come every year to this sacred Badrinath town to seek blessings and to get a glimpse of the famous temple of Shri Badrinathji.

Badrinath is the only Shrine which is part of both Chota Char Dham and India Char Dham. Badrinath is one among four pilgrimage centres in four corners of India. Among them were Badrikashram (Badrinath Temple) in the North, Rameshwaram in South, Dwarkapuri in west and Jagannathpuri in east.

Bhagvat Puran Describes: There in Badrikashram the Supreme being (Vishnu), in his incarnation as the sages Nar & Narayan, had been undergoing great penance since time immemorial for the welfare of all living entities.

Itinerary

Day 01

Arrive Haridwar - Srinagar/Rudraprayag (5 to 6 hrs)

This morning arrive at Haridwar and depart for Rudraprayag. Rudraprayag is a small pilgrim town on the holy confluence of river Alaknanda and Mandakini. En-route visit Devprayag the confluence of river Bhagirathi and Alaknanda. On arrival, in Rudraprayag check-in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Srinagar.

Day 02

Srinagar/Rudraprayag - Joshimath - Badrinath (5 to 6 hrs)

This morning, you check out of the hotel at 08:00 am and drive to Badrinath via Joshimath. After driving through some wonderful Ghat road you arrive at Badrinath. On arrival check into the hotel. After some rest and refreshments, you are all set to go to Badrinath Temple for darshan in the evening. But first, you have to go to Tapta Kund (Hot Spring), take a bath and then go to the temple. Dedicated to Lord Vishnu, the temple of Shri Badrinath Ji is 15 meters in height, built in the form of a cone with a small cupola of a gilt bull and spire. Later back to the hotel. Dinner and Overnight stay at hotel in Badrinath.

Day 03

Badrinath - Joshimath - Rudraprayag/Srinagar (5 to 6 hrs)

This morning, go for Badrinath darshan. After darshan returns back to the hotel, breakfast hotel and proceed for Badrinath local sightseeing visit Mana Village, Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, and Mata Murti temple. Afternoon drives back to Rudraprayag via Karanprayag. Rudraprayag is a small pilgrim town on the holy confluence of river Alaknanda and Mandakini. On arrival check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day free to explore the Rudraprayag town. Dinner and Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 04

Rudraprayag/Srinagar - Rishikesh - Haridwar (5 to 6 hrs)

Early morning, after breakfast, you drive down the hill to Rishikesh a spiritual city and the Yoga capital of the world. On reaching Rishikesh you will do the Rishikesh sightseeing visit Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula. Evening drives to Haridwar and drops at Haridwar Railway Station.
