Wandoor Beach - Chidiya Tapu Beach
After Breakfast visit to Wandoor beach it was famous for the Mahatma Gandhi Marin National Park which was one of the three marine parks in India, besides Gujarat and Tamil Nadu. The park encompassed an enchanting stretch of Marine waters, lush vegetable Islands, vast coral reefs and sparkling silver beaches. The Marine fauna was extremely rich and includes four species of turtles, the Dugong and the salt water crocodile. The flora also extremely diverse, including among the largest remaining stretches of protected mangroves in India. The stunningly beautiful group of 15 islands formed part of the 280 sq.kms Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park. There were a number of good beaches in and around Wandoor ,only a few exist now and then can visit Chidiya Tapu beach which is the southernmost point of the island &can view the sun set from the sun set point return to hotel Overnight stay at Port Blair.
